At the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon today, Cliff Hand, President of Marketing Specific, Inc., was awarded the Ambassador of the Month for the Rowlett Chamber.  Mr. Hand was honored with this award for his hard work and dedication to the Chamber for the month of August. 

The objective of the Ambassador Team is to strengthen the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce through the dedication of a special group of Chamber members who serve as official representatives throughout the community.  Members of the Ambassador Team participate in new business ribbon cuttings, Business of the Month presentations, Membership luncheons, and monthly Ambassador meetings. In addition, committee members participate in new member recruitment campaigns, ongoing retention efforts, and act as the official “greeters” for Chamber networking activities. Committee members provide a valuable service to the Chamber through their continuous contact with new and current members, activities that are essential in achieving and maintaining a high retention rate and through development of business relationships with all members of the Chamber.
